The Suzuki Motor Corporation has factories in many parts of the world, with over 90 years’ experience in a wide range of motor vehicle & engineering technologies. Suzuki uses the finest modern materials, up dated with technology and computer controlled engineering process to produce vehicles which combines performance and economy with ease of use, while minimizing their impact on the environment.

Every Suzuki design has evolved form study of the detailed requirements of our customers, followed up by stringent performance and endurance testing to give you confidence in your new vehicle.

New Vehicle Warranty Statement

Suzuki Del Caribe, Inc., warrants that your new Suzuki vehicle has been produced in accordance with the manufacture’s highest standards and has been inspected before delivery to you.

We therefore assure you that in the unlikely event of any part of the vehicle becoming defective due to faulty materials or manufacturing within the warranty period, the part will be repaired or replaced by an Authorized Suzuki Service Center with no charge for parts and or labor. The warranty period of 36 month or 36,000 miles (whichever comes first) from the date the vehicle is first put into service or first registered.

Conditions or exceptions to this warranty are:

• The vehicle must have been operated in accordance with the instructions in the Owner’s Manual and must have been serviced as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer in the Owner’s Manual.
• The vehicle must not have neglected, misused, over loaded, modified or used for racing or rallying.
• This warranty does not apply to parts not supplied by Suzuki or to defect arising from the fitment of parts not made or approved by Suzuki.
• The normal deterioration of consumable parts, such as tires and friction materials etc… and routine replacement of service parts, such as filter and spark plugs etc… are not covered by this warranty.

NOTE: Any change or modification of the vehicle’s components during the warranty period which hasn’t been authorized will invalidate this warranty.

Powertrain Limited Warranty

All warranty periods begin on the date the vehicle is first delivered at retail or first put into use, whichever comes first. The Powertrain Warranty begins at 36 month or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first and extends to 84 months or 100,000 miles whichever comes first. Powertrain coverage is limited only to those specific items stated.

• Engine: Engine cylinder block and head(s) and all internal parts, intake manifold, timing gears, chains, tensioners and timing covers, flywheels/drive plate, valve covers, oil pump, oil pan, engine mounts, water pump, fuel pump, seals and gaskets.
• Transaxle, Transmission and Transfer Case: Transaxle, transmission, transfer case and all internal parts, torque converter, transmission/transfer case mounts, transmission control module, seal and gaskets.
• Front Wheel Drive System: Front drive housing and all internal parts, axle shaft, drive/prop shaft, universal joints where CV boots are intact, hubs, bearings and seals.
• Rear Wheel Drive System: Rear drive housing and all internal parts, axle shafts, drive/prop shaft, universal joints, VC joints where CV boots are intact, hubs, bearings and seals.

Anti-Perforation Warranty

Perforation means the corrosion of any metal component of the vehicle body from one surface through to the other surface.

It is hereby warranted that, subject to the conditions herein contained, each new Suzuki 2013, will be free under normal use and maintenance, from any perforation caused by corrosion due to defects for 60 months from the date of delivery of the vehicle to the first owner.

Emission Component Defect Warranty

This Warranty begins on the date the vehicle is first delivered at retail or is first put into use, whichever comes first and continues for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. The electronic engine control module (ECM) onboard emissions diagnostic device and catalytic converter(s) are covered for 8 years or 80,000 miles, whichever comes first.
